So last weekend we set out on our first event of 2019 heading east to the beautiful village of Weybourne and to the North Norfolk Country Fair.
This year the event ran for two days instead of the usual one and featured incorporating a wide variety of stalls and main ring displays. As usual we were set up in the craft marquee which featured an extensive range of stallholders selling a wide range of handmade products.
Last year the show was a complete success for us but unfortunately this year though still acceptable the sales were down. I could of course blame Brexit as everybody else does when things go wrong but to be fair the weather was the biggest let down with heavy showers throughout both days and occasional high winds and from our point of view there was not as much stock available as we would usually put out at a two day event.
Was the weekend a disaster? No not at all as we tend to see out of county shows as weekends away rather than trading opportunities and with costs covered and a little it extra on top we left quite happy and will certainly return next year.
As always we would like to thank everyone who visited us for not only your purchases but also the amazing comments and support for my work..... very much appreciated x
